ArcheryClock — DIY Scoreboard & Timing

Dave is a collaborator on the open DIY archery timing and scoreboard project at archeryclock.com. He has designed custom interface circuit boards that simplify wiring between the controller and LED display segments, and is leading the ArcheryClock 3 redesign around an ESP32-S3 microcontroller with a rebuilt Android controller app.

  • Collaborator on the www.archeryclock.com DIY build community
  • Custom Arduino interface boards (Rev 1c and later) with labeled connectors for digits, lights, and power
  • ArcheryClock 3: ESP32-S3 firmware, wiring schematic (SCH-ELE-0001 Rev 1), and updated scoreboard electronics
  • Draft Android controller with timing sequence, red/yellow/green status, pause, stop, and emergency-stop controls
  • CAD-designed LED segment layouts, enclosures, and in-house display assembly
